Nestled in a picturesque location, Huguenot House offers a blend of comfort and classic charm. Upon arrival, we were met with a warm welcome from Jesse and Mag, setting a pleasant tone for our stay. The accommodation boasts a beautifully appointed room with a king-sized bed, providing warmth during a rainy weekend, aided by an ample duvet and heating. While the breakfast proved delightful, it was regrettable that no prior indication of an additional charge was provided, somewhat overshadowing the overall experience. Housekeeping was attentive, ensuring our room was impeccably maintained throughout our stay, and the complimentary tea and coffee facilities were a thoughtful touch. The hotel’s amenities, including free Wi-Fi and comfortable sitting areas, certainly add value. Despite some minor pricing discrepancies, Huguenot House remains a solid choice for those seeking a comfortable retreat with a historic flair, all while ensuring a fair value for the experience offered.
